I kinda discovered the 30MM kits a week ago after finally googling "Hey, where do the boxes next to the gunpla at my local merch store come from? I don't recognize that show's name?" and kinda got hooked on the premise of

"They're gunplas, except I don't have to feel bad for buying kits when I never watched Gundam Wings"

Anyway, I kinda got into my head to try and work on a long term custom, crow-themed build, mostly because I thought the head from the horse mecha kit was funny looking, and kinda looked like a beak

This is like, the preliminary build with the few parts I have so far that I'm the most happy with.

(Mostly, it's obviously using the Levinox type B as a base with the horse head on top, as well as a Gardonova's arm, the feets from the Brown Arm/Leg Option part set, and a few bits and pieces from the Sengoku Spinatio)

On the to do list, obviously I'm going to want to paint the guy to give 'im a nice Black and White color scheme, and I still want to grab a box of the black wing parts, not only because it would fit a lot better than the Buzz Lightyearesque wing job I did, but also because they're a bit heavy, and the big arms replacement are making this guy fairly top heavy already, and it tends to have some posing trouble around the waist.

And I'm probably going to try to just start cutting and gluing the pieces I'm using for the claw, so that the black blades can eventually be attached via a C-clip and a replace the default Gardonova fingers that are still in place, instead of going on top of them. (Also thinking of experimenting with dipping the fourth, unused leftover blade from the Levinix set in a hot water to see if that could allow me to curve them slightly, and if that works well enough, doing the same with the one on this guy)

But I'm already quite happy with how some things are shaping up, it really wasn't planned, but I like how the purple chest piece on the Levinix Type-B kinda work as far as like, evocating the shape of puffy chest feather. Like an inverse of the white pattens on a hooded crow or something.

And although my first attempt of putting the horse head on the Spinatio was kinda really silly looking, on the Levinix I like how it kinda just makes it looks like it's hunched other.

Honestly, it almost makes me feel a little bad that I don't really have the skills for any big customizations to really do it justice.

I tried doing some substantial painting on a 30MM weapon, and that wound up as a trainwreck.

A bit much on the dirt but i think the legs balance it out. I took plenty of pics that I'll post eventually after I edit them properly!

I guess, I can call the parts finalized. I just need to panel line and apply decals for the finishing touches.

Any insights on which parts need painting? I am not really good at coming up with color schemes.

As a pretty ok custom sister creator, I've been told by a close friend that Shuremi's mace kind of looks like Zenless Zone Zero's Nangong's mace. Including the fact they absolutely love anything zzz related, they wanted to commission this for me to make. So now the question, is it possible, or is it impossible?

Made from locally sourced scrap joint parts and pin vise.

I managed to make scissors, bows, and daggers.

The swords also fit on the motorcycle's weapon binders and fold up like Cloud's Fusion Sword and Fenrir bike in Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children

Finally found a more fitting claw and it fits now thanks to you guys. All that's left is to figure out what to put on those ball caps straps to the joints on its back and the Spinatio chimera is done

it's 2nd Heroine of Eva series, Asuka Shikinami Langley.

overall inject gloss infused red plug suit shines in light and she's cute and all, but for tldr, I would skip this if you don't like Eva and Asuka in general.

She comes with only 1prop, Cassius's Spear, only to probably countermarch Longinus's spear that was included in Rei's kit.

like all other 30mp kits she also comes with alternate sitting lower body parts to replace usual parts.

that's it nothing more extra!

yeah she's Asuka and it's all nice anf etc but at the end she comes with only such basic parts that if you love her so much you need every product of her irl it's right kit for you.

I know 30mp series are Collab kits so it's more costly, but outta all 30mp kits I'm definately sure she has least props.

if you want Asuka plamodel/figure there are more...variable alternatives out there.

I bought and built rg Eva 02 for her, but this is rather depressing.

Lo, and behold! My silver custom-frame Spinatio EXAMAC.

It’s my 1st time trying to kitbash an original mech using 30MM parts and I’m loving it! I bought some optional parts so here’s my WIP Iglight Ultra Space Type.

I made a Radome type unit w/ bazooka and missile weapons that converts to a “Shadow Drone” that mimics the main mecha’s movement but can also target indepently. It’s made from the Extended Armament Vehicle (Smart Transformable Machine). It’s legs were converted to a beam cannon attached to the booster unit legs and can fire together with all weapons in a “Full Burst Mode”.

The actual legs of the Iglight I converted as a sort of particle emitter attached to the backpack which doubles as an I-field kind of barrier or a booster to increase thrust and speed.

I’m still looking to what parts I can add but I dont want to make it too overburdened. I want to paint it but I’m not confident yet with using an airbrush so I’ll leave it at that first and probably get back to it once I have a color scheme in mind.

Any suggestions to improve the build are welcome!
