What were you taught in school that is now considered obsolete and or incorrect? I myself loved home economics and it’s probably the only thing I learned in school that I actually use today. It’s practical life skills like cooking, cleaning, budgeting, etc…

Who is your favorite band of all time? This is mine.

Boston. This album is perfection. I still get goosebumps when I hear any song from it, 50 years later, that's pretty powerful. I love a lot of artists and bands, but Boston has my heart.

1970s Indy 500 Snake Pit

Since Memorial Day is this weekend, which means Indy is gearing up for the 500, I wanted to share this photo of my
Dad with his friends from High School. All or most are from Crawfordsville,IN. My dad is the big guy with the cowboy hat on. This would have to be sometime after his high school graduation in ‘76. My dad has been gone now almost 10 years. All the fun stories I heard from him are just somethin.

Edit: I only put NSFW since the sign, cause ya know hahaha

I miss A&W

Especially in the summer. There was nothing better than a frosty mug full of root beer!

Sanford & Son?

Any fans of the US version of Steptoe and Son? Looking to review/compare for our podcast. Any information would help.

Remember these knitted (or crocheted?) toilet paper dolls? They seemed to be on the back of every toilet in the 70's.

Yes, my mom had one too!
