Is passing the examination phase for USCP SA a good indication that you’ll get a final offer?

Im aware nothing is official until you get the final call after the BI, and I know USCP has a tendency to BQA randomly, but I also imagine they aren’t going to spend time on a BI if they plan to disqualify you anyways.

I Completed my DC trip/exam phase for USCP SA a few weeks ago and waiting to hear back. Im not trying to get too far ahead of myself but Id like to be able to tentatively start making plans while my BI is in progress since Ill be moving to DC from out of state.

Im hearing of people getting CITP dates after the exam phase which makes me assume they intend on extending final offers for people who make it to the BI.

USPP Question

Does USPP care about a failed USSS poly within the past 2 years (Nov 2024 to be exact)? I passed poly from Capital Police last year not sure if that helps. I just accepted the tentative offer for USPP and want to be careful about jumping over if they wont pass my clearance because of the previously failed poly. Also I heard USPP has paused hiring for now even for people in the process has this been confirmed?

Department of the Army Civilian Police Clearance

Applied in April, had my interview the same week, got the informal offer the same day and now I'm jumping through the remaining hoops. I have my medical next week, they completed my background check and such as well.

Now the hang up, I started the process of getting my clearance with my current job and was told it would easily switch over after completion during the interview. However, they are wanting me to start the process of another clearence now as well. I was told that if you have two going simultaneously that they will either halt one or both then I'm in limbo until they decide how to proceed. Anyone have experience in this realm? Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, I recently got my 05/11 orientation week & 05/17 FLETC date in Glynco and I was wondering what to expect as far as living conditions (roommates, bathrooms, cleanliness, food, etc) and if there’s anything I could do to possibly secure a better spot as I’ve heard some units only share a bathroom (like maybe getting there earlier or later).

If anyone has advice (like what to bring and such) it’d be very appreciated as it’s my first time sharing a room with somebody and/or not having a kitchen. I can’t imagine having to eat from a cafeteria everyday.

DM me if you’d prefer and thank you in advance.

I applied back in November and have had an incredibly smooth process start to finish.

I never went more than two weeks between sections of the application process without some type of correspondence. I felt as though the USCP was very professional at every step along the way.

I am thankful to all of the people in this community and on /1811 for their insights. Best of luck to everyone on their journey.

Given that they’re slowing down to due the “last class” in June rumor assuming its funding related for the FY,which I also heard from someone reliable, what happens to the current applications that are still in the middle of being processed through? Do you reapply, are you at a higher priority next announcement or do they process all applications to see if you qualify/have a chance at the June class on a case by case basis? Trying to have a better understanding of this process since I have a forms interview this week.

For context, I have two years experience as a local LEO, currently working on getting my degree, and applied and got a TJO for a DoW 0083 position.

My long term goal is to become a 1811 or something similar. Could becoming an 0083 give me that opportunity? I figured already being a federal employee could make it an easier transition. Let me know your thoughts. Thank you.

Does anyone know how much time there is between graduation from Glynco and first day in Cheltenham for USPP? I would like to have moved to the DMV before starting ASB.

Recruiting said they're updating the process and that they would reach out again to the base this week. It's now been 3 weeks.

How long can this possibly be to get back to people! Especially when you're highly qualified, 2 years 3 months correction including 1 year of night shift and 3 months court transport and security, FPS PSO with security clearance of standard and CDL B for passenger bus and school bus and willing to get air breaks.

What’s up everyone,

Just want to ask, but do USCP accept MPD’s academy as far as being a lateral, or they make you go straight to FLETC in GA? I keep hearing conflicting information about it. I’m just going to assume it’s a no, but any confirmation will be greatly Appreciated.

FLETC in GA, do you actually have to pass the PEB in FLETC to graduate, or you just got to “participate”?

How are the academics in Cheltenham? What exactly do they consist of? Someone told me it’s pretty hard.

Do they really haze people in Cheltenham on a day to day basis?

Lastly, what’s the day to day like in GA FLETC and Cheltenham FLETC?
