I get it, but why are people blindly defending a giant of a company with hundreds of millions of dollars?

Just saw a post in this sub from someone saying something like, "Does anyone else not give a eff?". I use a Bambu P1S at work, I have a Flashforge and an Ender 3 at home. I like Bambu. I do not like what they're doing. I was going to buy an H2C, holding off now. Is it just this community, or is this a larger thing? I see ALOT of people stepping aside these days because saying or doing something might slightly inconvenience their lifestyle. That sort of apathy makes me a little sad. How should I feel about this? I'm both sad and angry. I had a thought that perhaps it's the Bambu community being lemmings, but maybe that's not fair. Funnily enough, my other company (Flashforge) also had a big PR nightmare. These companies don't understand Americans....clearly.

Off the wall but serious thought I had. This isn't something I'd go around telling people. Most people won't believe you and others will think you're pretentious. Given the motivation I have and the things I've overcome and accomplished; I really think this is a 90% sort of thing. If I decide that is what I'm going to do, the probability of success is high. I want to give about half to charity or use that portion to run a charity upon retirement. I'm 38 and in good health. Random from a random to a random.
