This isn’t my first rodeo, it’s actually my 2nd.

This isn’t my first rodeo, it’s actually my 2nd.

2nd transsphenoidal tumor resection in 10 years because I am one of the lucky ones who had their adenoma grow back. I [30F] feel so validated seeing my prolactin results drop immediately after this surgery. I advised my neuroendocrinologist multiple times something was wrong when I had started experiencing symptoms again in 2024 and he kept blowing me off stating “elevated is the new normal for women”. I truly had to self advocate for answers but thankfully, this isn’t my first time so I knew what labs and tests were needed and my PCP was wonderful in making me feel heard in my search for a diagnosis.
