If you got the chance to write your own Gaiden game with an underrated character? Who would it be and what would it be about?

Probably been asked in one way or another a million times before but I'm asking again because I'm curious! I personally haven't really liked any of the Gaiden games despite really wanting to. So tell me your concepts!
I'll go first: Tanimura and Shinada World Tour!
A sort of buddy cop comedy starring two protagonists that we never saw again and who never even got to meet, hitting up a bunch of popular Asian cities as they work together to solve a huge conspiracy.
Badly put together and poorly thought out synopsis:
After the destruction of Little Asia in Kamurocho, former policeman Tanimura vanishes from Japan. What looks like a tragic fire turns out to be something more calculated, immigrant communities are quietly displaced and trafficked through various unofficial channels (labor, charity and seemingly opportustic pipelines (such as...sports) tanimura has been tracking and trying to save these victims, now taking a more manual approach overseas.
Years later, Tatsuo Shinada, a disgraced, but cleared, former baseball star, begins traveling abroad as a scout and mentor for independent leagues. While trying to help young players chase their dreams, he uncovers signs of match fixing, debt bondage, and athletes being trafficked under the guise of opportunity.
Following separate leads, Tanimura and Shinada cross paths overseas. Though distrustful of each other at first, they realize they’re tracking different parts of the same system one that profits from erased communities and broken...dreams (cue Yakuza 5 music).
Now give me your, much better ideas! Or you can add to mine if you want. Just don't criticize it, or I'll cry.
