Does anyone know any places in midtown that serves good Caesars?
Moved from the downtown about a year back, so looking for anywhere that does a good Ceasar. Google says try the Duke (it's closed for last month), Keg and the The Right Wing.

Dang Good Donuts is a newish spot at Yonge and Castlefield in midtown Toronto.
Right now doing catering, regualr hours to be announced shortly.
Ever since I moved to Eglinton almost 30 years ago I noticed that the subway intermittently slows down to a crawl as soon as it leaves Eglinton even when the previous train has left almost five minutes ago.
There is never anyone working on the tracks during the day.
Is there something unique with that terrain that there is always something wrong that needs fixing which is why the subway train slows down?
The place was packed on a Sunday afternoon, but they had a ton of seating, and prices were around the same or slightly lower than at similar non-Tim's coffee spots. So I'd be wondering if the laptop lizards move in during the week?

Taken a while back during my night trips. Not the best photographer, but I was quite pleased with how well they turned out.
The title is a reference to TVOntario, whose headquarters are around here. Taken on the ZV-E10 II.

Chatted with the doorman at the front for a bit. They opened on Friday and supposedly have a chef from Scaramouche serving up things like Detroit style pizzas, chicken curries and fish and chips!
Raising a final glass to 40 years of memories at Yonge and Eglinton as the Duke of Kent officially closes its doors for tonight.
Not sure if this is public knowledge but I’m sitting at the bar at the Duke and they 86 list at 4:20pm on a Friday was too high for me not to ask if they were shutting down…. And they are!
Tomorrow, Saturday is the last day. I didn’t get the backstory as to why. Yet. lol.
So if you wanted to grab a pint at The Duke. Now is the time.
I'm new to town so maybe I am just missing them somehow, but it seems like there aren't many music or night life venues in the area. Considering the density, you would think there would be more options.
Were there venues here previously and they shut down because of covid or has it always been like this? Any recommendations for places to check out?
