Beware of the dakar airport scam when you are using passport control.

I was told that I should already have a stamp in my passport, even though it's my first visit to Senegal( for tourism) , I was then taken to the police room and asked to pay €20 to stamp my passport in order to cross the border.

Luckily, we said we had no cash available, and were let go.

Not a nice start to the trip!
