"Gig: Spy in the Jungle" - What did your V do?

My Corpo V spared Katya because the priority was the biomon and she figured that there's a half-chance that Katya would be dead either way since as the latter said, "SovOil simply does not give up the hunt."

As for the biomon itself, once she's told what could end up being in jeopardy, she decides to destroy it. This is because I played her as someone who has no love lost for corpos and doesn't want to get back to that life. She's hunted down plenty of suits and done other gigs/jobs that gave the corpos a middle finger.

Yet having come from that life in the corpo world, she also knows all too well how things work and knows that sometimes you have to pick your fights or start a war that you can't win (especially if even the attempt to start a war will bring zilch results). And given that she's on a timer, brewing a plot to get into Arasaka once more for a potential cure, and is already embroiled in a government plot for a second option of a cure, she'd rather not put more big-scale conflicts on her plate.

Johnny disapproves of destroying the biomon, because of course he does and thinks that it's a cowardly move, but honestly it's not like he's a voice of reason 100% of the time and a lot of his gripes are stemmed from personal bias (like how hypocritical and shortsighted he gets in the gig with Nele Springer). But V couldn't give the slimmest shit about what he thinks if it's obvious that his hatred for corpos trumps any sort of sense.

This makes me curious about what others did in this same gig. What was your V's decision?

Would Johnny still have cared about Delamain's fate if he weren't...

In all honesty, I think V was on point when they surmise that the only reason Johnny objects so strongly to having Delamain be reset (thus erasing all his offshoots) is because he's projecting their situation onto Delamain (with Delamain being V and the offshoots being Johnny). Even if it doesn't put him in a good light when the choice he approves of most (destroying the core and setting the "children" free) mirrors V's potential fate of being completely taken over by Johnny (if that's what the player chooses).

Hypothetically speaking, if Johnny wasn't an engram and just happened to be there when V has to make the decision regarding Delamain's core, would he still tell V to not reset Delamain because he's all for rebellion and freedom (as much as he believes he is, anyway) or would he be more far indifferent to whatever the outcome will be because he couldn't relate with Delamain or his "children" this time around?
