Hi y’all! My 17 year old is looking for a part time job this summer. They are on the early childhood education path in the CCPS district, and will need work/volunteer hours to graduate May 2027. They are already volunteering at Richmond Animal League with the Creative Critters program, signed up on the Bambino baby sitting app and have applied at Aqua tot and Romp and Roll. The issue they are coming up with is being under 18. So my question for all you fine folks: do you have any recommendations for an employer who will hire a 17 year old for a child care job?
