I want to make this jumper for my boyfriend, but it’s made in flat sections, and I really want to make it in the round if I can as I find it much quicker.
I’ve found it on ravelry, and it seems like quite a popular pattern. Some people have said they managed to convert it into the round, but I’m not sure how.
The second photo is a picture of the of the pattern instructions to make the jumper in the flat. In the last photo I have also showed some of the maths that I tried to do, which I thought would be successful to do it in the round, but the more I think about it the more I’m confusing myself and I need some help! I don’t know how to maintain the correct amount of purl stitches at the beginning and end of the row (as the original pattern has more to factor in to the seam allowance, but I don’t know which stitches to get rid of for kitting in the round).
I know that I have to convert the WS rows for the round, which I have already done in my own pattern.
I also want to knit the sleeves in the round (the pattern is in the third picture) but the pattern is different again and I don’t even know where to start!
Please help if you can, I’m an intermediate knitter, but not good with maths!!
If anybody also has help on how to turn it into set-in sleeves aswell that would be great, but I’m not as bothered about that.
Idk if I’ve explained myself very well so I’ll also answer any questions! I’m very grateful for any help :)
