What's your favourite Tragically Hip music video? They've got a good chunk to choose from, but let's include live performances too for fun.

I've got to go with 'The Darkest One'. As someone who grew up in New Brunswick, The Hip could sometimes feel a little Ontario centric, with all the talk of cottage country and Kingston and Toronto. But having the Trailer Park Boys (pride of the Maritimes, at least until Mike Smith's recent allegations) in there really made them feel like peak Canadian for the era. Now it's my go-to Hip video that usually turns into grabbing a beer and watching a few more.

Hey, hosers. I'm wondering what daily frustrations you run into as a Canadian interacting with technology built by and for the US market. Especially when it comes to AI.

Personally, I just want to see things like "colour", "neighbour", and "centre" spelled correctly without having to switch to British English.

On a deeper level, I'd love to see more of a Canadian lens on things like politics, laws, and history too. Basically, I'd love us to have house hippos and CanCon for the modern digital age 😁

I'm listening to 'Live Between Us' for the 38,467th time today and thinking about the "this is for the Rheostatics, we're all richer for having seen them tonight" line in the intro. I started listening to the Rheostatics about a decade ago after having heard that countless times and they've been a favourite ever since.

Another big one for me has been getting huge into High MacLennan after reading 'The Watch That Ends The Night', where Gord pulls that "no simple explanation" verse in 'Courage' from. 'Barometer Rising' is another great novel of his, set during the Halifax explosion.
