Marmit Flatwoods Monster!

Recently picked this guy up! Surprisingly kinda huge!

I absolutely love that this random West Virginia alien is so popular in Japan!

Why are pro AI folks in general kind of angry and mean?

Outside of the stereotypical circles that interact with and support AI- I would say the average Joe who would consider themselves "pro AI" are hard to talk to.

From the "Hollywood is cooked" to the "Artists are over" posts and the constant anger when you try to support why you are anti AI. Everything they do around this tech just feels like it is at the expense of others and kinda mean-spirited? I honest don't think I know exactly why either.

Obviously art as system has major flaws, there is no denying that but I have always viewed art as one of the most open sourced pieces of humanity we have. I wouldn't say artists are usually depicted as the bad guy.

It's just weird to me, being so hostile over something a ton of people didn't even know exist 4 years ago.
