All My Thanks!

I have to thank you all! Just completed a short trip to (mainly) Reykjavík, and I saw a bunch of the toy-related places people recommended to me, here. Beyond that, I just had an amazing time in your city. I walked everywhere, delighting in the little shops and restaurants along the way. The natural beauty cannot possibly be done justice by my words. The people were wonderful. Even Monday, which brought plenty of wind and snow, was a joy for me (though of course within the bounds of safety). I had never experienced anything like Reykjavík, and am just so lucky that now I have, to whatever extent a brief tourist can. I hope to visit again soon. Curious if the Icelandic geeks (I am also a geek, so I say that with love) have an opinion on this: is toy culture a big thing in Iceland? Here in the U.S., there are many shops and shows serving collectors, but perhaps it's not such a big thing in Iceland?
