Need help: older version X-Pole
Hi everyone! My friend gave me her mom’s OLD X-Pole which was super nice, but of course it came with no instruction manual.😅 With a ton of research and messing around with the parts, my dad and I determined it was an X-Pole, and a very old one at that! My guess is one of the first of its kind? This is the kind that has NO X-Joints (trust me they used to exist). We set it up finally, had it spinning super smooth, and then after a few days I felt it get loose. I attempted to tighten it, which made the spin mode very slow & choppy. Tried loosening, same problem… we took it apart again, and the bearings/upper area look a mess. I need help with how these should be placed on the pole? Are those bearings + other metal parts supposed to be INSIDE the dome? HELP! I want to avoid buying a whole new pole if I can… BUT I also understand if it’s just too old and needs to be retired.
