I have a 2019 RAM 1500 that needs new tires, but we are talking about buying a camper. 80% time on highway, 20% time towing. What do I purchase? What other purchases should I factor in?
I was all set to buy Michelin Defenders because my treads are getting low, but now I'm doubting myself.
We are talking about buying a camper to tow (smaller, like 3500 dry), and now I'm wondering if that's still the right call. I would still use the truck for highway driving and not towing many days, and about 2 weekends a month tow the camper.
From an old pic of the ram towing tool I had on my phone, this is what I have:
2019 RAM 1500 BIG HORN / LONE STAR CREW CAB 4X4
6'4" BO
8-Speed Automatic 8HP75 Transmission
5.7L V8 HEMI MDS VVT Engine-3.21 Rear Axle Ratio
Also, is there anything else I should factor in having to do while I'm looking at setting up the truck for this?
