How's my rack going? any suggestions
after lots of dumb shit and whatnots, i reracked. Goal is boards of canada-ish music without samples or post processing (yeah i know) but thinking is ensemble pads, ona and pony melody/leads/harmony, pony VCF to mix down Ona. Drums on LXR (i dont like VCOs doing percussion, feels like a waste for me perosnlly). FX on sealegs/ghost/mfx (might kick out ghost) I'm pretty happy with the sealegs one reverb for what it is... 2 envelopes, 0chd for lfo, and pams. I have the catalyst to sequence (also a hapax), o/a/2 for offset, DAC to transpose, 151 for animation. I mix offrack via bestie and bluebox. The two hp's are burst, buffs, arps, granular. Pony VCO has its own VCA, and i have the ampera 4 VCA. 3 filters with pony, lp40 bubblesound and carbon. I don't really use scales, but getting a bezier curve thing I want to at least check out even if there's no room right now (MVMNT) MFX gives me audio scope and tuner utility as well. Hoenstly i havent really used VCAs beyond envelope control yet, still a noob.
Also Halos is there, maybe too many voices but its good (i know behringer) but i havent played with it much at all.
I do have a wasp, fake maths which im too dumb to use, and a morphagene as possible slot ins, and i could so samples with morphagene. Got some other stuff but the main ones id want to swap in, maybe the gliss.
I have a nifty case, so could add that technically but was trying to stick with the mantis
I'm good with mainly mono (for now.)
