hello,

I am currently an undergraduate student majoring in Applied mathematics. I am doing research on PINNS and I am writing a paper on it. I am first author and I am looking to publish it in JCP. I am also speaking in a the ECCOMAS conference in Munich. I am doing all of this with my advisor hes the one currently leading me and suggesting I do all of this I am having fun and everything but I want to pursue a PhD in machine learning but sometimes the path I am taking doesn't feel right to get into a good PhD program because I am not really going for NeurIPS or pure machine learning. Am I overreacting? should I aim for different journals or conferences? I am still a sophmore what should I do? thanks!
