Any issues using spike tape on a wooden gym floor? There’s a concern from leadership about residue.
We’re planning to tape out our set for rehearsals. If this were a wooden stage I wouldn’t hesitate using spike, however, this is a new(ish) varnished maple floor and I’m not allowed to leave residues when we’re done. I’ve seen spike tape leave adhesive when removed before, which is the only reason I’m being cautious. The other ideas I had were frog or blue painters tape, which won’t be as durable and may tear frequently when removed.
