26M / Currently a Registered Nurse

Hi guys, as the title says - I'm currently working as an RN. Though I've always wanted to be a teacher, am interested in teaching biology/health and human development.

Before I start a 2 years/1.5 yrs master degree, I just wanted to know want kind of challenges do you guys face as a high school teacher. I believe there are pros and cons in every job.

I like my job as an RN, but it's too stressful dealing with life and death all the time. The pressure of always being accurate and competent is taking a toll on my mental health, knowing my mistake could kill someone. I'm good at my job, but I really just wanted a career change, potentially do nursing casually when I miss it. Besides this, I'm hard working, extremely efficient, have a high resilience, like to learn and study, am open to feedback and continuous development. I do love talking to people, teaching and explaining things clearly.

Financially, I've been disciplined and been saving so I can comfortably study my Master degree when I pull the trigger to enrol myself.

I am also open to teaching in rural schools, as I know there are shortages and etc.

Any advice, your experience would be very valuable to me! Thank you!
