I’m running 0.2 rc2 on bazzite. It’s a mini pc, not a steam deck. I’m using a 8bitdo Pro 3

In the settings I can select the device as Pro Controller 0. Launch the game, everything works. But if I restart Eden, or launch a game directly through steam, Eden switches the device back to “any” and I lose all button control and motion control. No response at all. Then go back into the configure menu, change it to pro controller, and it works. Until the next restart.

Any ideas?

Launched via ESDE on steam big picture

I just got a 8bitdo pro3. When I launched Eden via desktop, set up the controller, and opened a game it worked flawlessly, motion included. But now when I open the game via ESDE the controller is no longer recognized at all.

I’m really looking to make this as plug and play as possible before introducing it to my kids.

Something in the config I am missing?
