Is our grading system too lenient? Will these easy grades set students up for failure in college?
Just saw a TikTok of a student with a 99 average who felt like a failure because she only got 89/170 on her college entrance exam. This got me thinking about students who only achieve an 80% or below average. With the current grading system being so lenient, will those students actually stand a chance in competitive college entrance exams?
