I decided I wanted to explore different applique techniques, and I'm starting with fusible since it seems the most straightforward. Unfortunately for me I'm also bothered by raw edges and don't currently have a free motion quilting machine (yet...) so I'm also using a rubber sculpting tool to apply tiny amounts of white glue to hold down loose threads and then stitching down everything to secure + add extra pops of color and outlines for aesthetics lol. I don't know if this is incredibly extra but I'm enjoying how zen it is so far!
