i just found a cheat code for injection pain - emla cream

TW NEEDLES

i cant speak for im injections but i do sub q in my stomach and really struggle with consistency due to pain, my shots can take up to 2 hours sometimes.

applied emla cream (lidocaine) onto stomach an hour before and covered it with cling film then taped it to me and it took me no more than 5 minutes including setting my needle and syringe up. i didnt even need to prepare myself.

i did it in my right side as ive been having bad scar tissue in my left side due to injecting there for the past 8 months as its the least painful. i had to adjust my hand positioning as it was a different side which was scary, but when i tell you i felt NOTHING, i mean i literally could not feel the needle at all.

i have an awful fear of blood tests/needles in general due to me having one (that i can remember) once in a terrible situation, i cant even watch people do them. the last time i had a blood test was last september. now i feel like i can finally get them regularly and be much safer as i can monitor my t levels. im going to try it tuesday when i have my blood test and update this post.

because i didnt have to worry about my hand positioning due to my usual shaking (i didnt shake or sweat at all) i could actually inject properly as well and had no lumps - an actual, safely administrated sub q injection.

im so happy, now i can actually be consistent and have a better chance of growing more facial hair as well as fat redistribution and an even deeper voice

tl;dr if you have a really bad fear of the pain of needles PLEASE buy emla cream, you will feel literally NOTHING

do i need to disclose my legal gender to my apprenticeship workplace?

i have just applied for a warehouse apprenticeship through the gov website, obviously if im stereotyping the people working there may not be the most accepting people due to the fact that its male dominated and usually older men. the training is provided through a college and the enquiry contact information for the apprenticeship is a college.

if i do get the apprenticeship and have to prove my right to work, would my provisional license, proof of national insurance number and bank statements suffice? I don't want to show my passport and if i do i only want to show it to the college. my name is changed legally but my gender isnt as im not old enough to.

if i had to show college my passport would they have to disclose my legal gender to the workplace? like if im on their payroll or something.

thank you
