I'm seeing The Midnight in Toronto for the first time and I was thinking about how I even stumbled upon them.

2017

The new Friday The 13th game was released that year.

In the game once you go into a cabin they have radios that you could use as a noise distraction for Jason.

I became obsessed with one of the songs, it was "Summer of Heat" by Mitch Murder and Kristine.

I found it on SoundCloud and it took me down the rabbit hole that is Synthwave.

Timecop1983, Morgan Willis, Sunglasses Kid, The Bad Dreamers, September 87 and of course The Midnight all became quick favs.

2017

The year I became obsessed with The Equalizer (You're Not Alone) ... Still am 😏

It was also the year the Nocturnal album was released and there was no turning back, I fell in love.

It's been amazing watching everything you guys have accomplished over these 9 years of being a fan 🩷

Can't wait for Toronto!!!
