Old Burger King receipt I found in one of my brother's old text books

I have a flip phone I can use on my days off. The problem is when I'm at work (front desk hotel). I need my smartphone so I can quickly send detailed texts to my supervisor. The problem is I can't help myself from compulsively looking at the bad news of war etc on Chrome and YouTube.
My Pixel 3A lets me deactivate Chrome and YouTube, but not uninstall them. When I'm at work I keep activating them because I can't help myself. Is there an app that can lock these down with no possible access? If there's a fee, that's ok. Thank you.
My Pixel 3A still works great and still has great battery life. Is there any reason why I should buy a newer model? Or would it be basically the same, or maybe even worse? Thanks!
