Does optifade subalpine or kuiu valo break up your outline more in the high desert? I am starting to plan and have kits in both. I’d be happy if I didnt have to get new stuff.

I drew tags in NM for rifle this year! I’m beyond amped. I’ve been looking at forums and videos, but wanted to see if anyone would be willing to share their first hand experience in hunting out there.
I’ll be going to unit 12 and am using a guide from LOH Outfitters.
Looks like the terrain is mostly rolling hills with canyons. Is that accurate? How far are the average shots in NM?
Anything you can share would be appreciated!
