Sirenomelia, also called mermaid syndrome, is a rare congenital deformity affecting roughly 1 in 100,000 births worldwide in which the legs are fused together, giving the appearance of a mermaid's tail, hence the nickname.
The spicemen is from the library of the oldest school of medicine in EGYPT established in 1827.
