Medical team and coaching staff have done a great job with managing injuries and player returns this season

I wanted to acknowledge how good the Hornets medical team along with the coaching staff have been this season at managing injuries and player returns.

Lamelo Ball who has struggled with injuries for most of his career has managed to play 69 games so far this season as compared to 47 games last season and 22 games the 2023-2024 season.

Brandon Miller who struggled with injuries for most of last season and the beginning of this season has played 62 games this season as compared to 27 games last season. Brandon missed 13/15 first games of the season and was still able to make a seamless return, playing well, while managing to stay healthy.

Additionally, when Kon sprained his ankle, I was surprised by him only having to miss one game. And looking at the fact Kon has only missed one game the entire season is impressive on its own.

There are other players they’ve done really well with injury management as well.

I just wanted to acknowledge the good job the coaching staff and medical team have done at managing these players injuries and reintegrating them back into play.

Who is the Shams of the WNBA?

Shams, the senior insider for ESPN, is known as a consistent source that reports on NBA teams accurately and timely.

I always have his post notifications during NBA trade deadline and free agency.

Does the WNBA have a source similar to Shams, that you know you can always trust, and that reports on all WNBA teams rather than in a particular one?

If not, that needs to happen ASAP.
