Beer can collecting, is it really worth it?
Just wondering how many of you actually return your empties?
Personally I don't find the deposit worth my time unless there's a huge amount and I typically just leave mine in a separate bag next to the trash on garbage day for the "pickers".
It did get me thinking though, at the time spent for the "pickers" to rifle through trash to collect the empties, if must work out at well below the minimum wage, surely it can't be a sustainable "job".
