I know people have very mixed feelings about Veda (have heard comments that the food is somewhat flavorless or that service is lackluster), but goddamn, I cannot believe what a good spot it is for happy hour.

The happy hour bites are some the best value in the city. Four sizable (and flavorful!) plates and two excellent (and large!) cocktails for 40 bucks. And it goes till 7! Can’t recommend it enough.
