Sump pump discharge line

I had a sump pump after the water table changed enough that my sump hole was starting to fill up on a semi regular occasion. because of where the discharge from the house is, it’s about 4-5 feet up and then has a 90° discharge onto the ground. It’s about a foot to 18 inches away from the house.

I currently have a simple splash block it, which gets it another 2 feet away from the house. I know this isn’t the correct solution long-term, but it was better than just straight onto the ground to start with. I did have a couple different companies come out and get quotes on trenching and putting in the discharge pipe to the woods. Every quote I got was in excess of $3000.

In know I can probably do it myself. Is the best option since it freezes here in the north to do a 4” double walled corrugated pipe to the woods? I know I would need a downward slope but not sure how much or if I can just leave the trench I would dig as dirt or if I need to line it with anything?

it’s currently running frequently but we’ve had a ton of rain lately and the ground is still wet from recent snow melt. I’m assuming it’s a combination of that and the discharge straight down to a splash block not being good enough.

any suggestions are greatly appreciated
