Simple UI? Not so much for me
I was so excited about Simple UI. Couldn't wait to try it and everything. But ever since I installed it on my Kindle Colorsoft, I've had nothing but trouble. I deleted all my patches because I had no idea which one was causing it to prevent KOReader from starting. Then, when I was finally able to get it to work, I kept getting these odd flashes on the Home Screen that looked like a picture was trying to load--only I had no screensaver background added. And I wasn't doing anything at the time the flashes would occur. My reader would freeze at odd times and I'd have to reboot it. I thought maybe the problem was that I had too many books on my device--I had several hundred--so I deleted them. That didn't solve anything because the issues persist.
Everything is up to date--KOReader is version 2026.3; Simple UI is the most recent one released. I have no patches at all, not even deactivated ones. So I have no idea what's causing me to have so many problems when it should be smooth sailing.
