Still more parts to the Minutemen costume I call finished.

Think it would be neat to have the fusion core attached to an alice pack or sticking out of a utility porch.

I wanna make a sheath for the rupper to attach to the pistol belt I'm gonna wear, but after attempting to see a holster for my 10mm... I"m dubious.

Made the world's saddest little holster in the process. Like not aweful, but not great for just eyeballing it.

Finally sat down and fixed the wiring on my "Working" GB MT500 radio.

I put it together months ago, but due to some issues, couldn't keep it working.

Fast forward to last night, after changing batteries, and rewiring it. It's working like a champ.

It has four different radio chatter tracks. tied to the frequency knob, and four theme tracks.

Sadly the volume knob is a little broken. It'll control volume, but no longer turns it on or off.

Started it last Oct for the possible Minutemen photoshoot and finally completed it today with rust and weathering.

It's all PLA, done in rattlecan spray paint, acrylic and baking soda for rust and weathering effects.

I did add to sling connection points for a WW2 Thompson sling, so it's not constantly needing to be held.

Minutemen blacked out Combat Armor painting and weathering done, but going to have to change out the straps.

The canvas idea failed, but I haven't been able to find any decent leather belts to use at any of the thrift stores I've hit up recently.

Sadly, my other set lost its chest piece when I dropped it today while working on it. It broke in places I couldn't repair, so I'll have to start on a replacement.

Literally moths of work lost in a moment.

I made shoulder armor for this set, but not sure I'm gonna use them. Don't dig the look as this set was gonna get loaned out if the photoshoot idea ever actually happened.

I wanna rock OG OD Armor, cuz I'm basic like that.

I finished the painting and weathering on my first set of blacked out Combat Armor for my Minutemen costume.

I haven't been able to locate any decent leather belts to use at any of the thrift stores I've been to to use for the straps.

The canvas strap idea failed.

Sadly, the other set lost its chest plate when I dropped it today while working in it, only to have it snap in ways I could repair.

So I'll have to start over on a replacement.

I did complete shoulder armor for this set, but not sure I'm gonna use them now.

Due to my workshop not having heat, I didn't finish this project till today, but started it last Oct.

Made on an Ender3 V3SE

A prop Automatic Pipe Rifle from Fallout 4 to go with my Minutemen cosplay.

The only metal parts are the bolt spring, screws, and wire wrapping the barrel/stock, everything else is PLA.

Painted with rattle can spray paints and weathered with acrylic dollar store paint.

It doesn't have any moving parts, and it's my first attempt at rust effects thanks to youtube tutorials.

Started the project back in Oct, but my workshop isnt heated, so winter put a stop to it.

Finally got the weathering done today. It was my first time doing rust and I'm surprised how well it turned out.

It was made in an Ender3, and finished with metal screws, a metal spring for the bolt, and wire wrap for the barrel/stock.

After posting it originally and reading the feedback...

Watched a handful of rust weathering tutorials and gave it a try.

Here is the end result.

Trying the weathering on my combat armor now.
