Velocity and Cosmic has malware, reinstall Windows
Reinstall Windows immediately. Their domains may have been taken over by malicious actors, or GC may have pulled an exit scam. (Guide on wiping windows: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIRuMV5B_Ak )
This issue likely goes beyond the websites—any associated loaders or files could also be compromised. If you’ve used either Velocity or Cosmic, it’s highly recommended to reinstall Windows to ensure your system is fully clean.
Cosmic runs on Velocity’s infrastructure, which is why visiting Velocity redirects to Cosmic’s site. It appears Velocity has taken control of Cosmic’s domains, since Cosmic is hosted on its servers.
It’s unclear how long this has been going on, so performing a full system reset is strongly advised.
This situation will likely have a lasting impact on trust within the exploiting community.
