The region of the world the Oniskrijan people's call home is dominated by barren deserts and sweeping empty landscapes, constantly shifting from the wind. Due to the harsh reality of their region they've turned to airships for the transportation of the majority of their goods, as they are quick and avoid most issues presented by the terrain, and are able to cover the vast distances between cities in times no other option can compete with. Though storms pose a threat, decades of observation and meterology have allowed rudimentary weather forecasting making weather along the airways relatively avoidable.

The airships use coal gas as a fuel source as it doesnt affect the bouyancy and allows for a more compact and lighter engine system, and make use of hybrid systems allowing some of the engines to pivot and provide extra lift if the situation calls for it (though this extra lift is not included in the figures)

The Skimosirn airship is intended primarily for exploration, as the people have yet to fully explore their continent let alone the world, while the Oniskraej is intended as a skyliner for moving people and goods.

Theres also a smaller Valerian class for the same use that makes up the backbone of the fleet but im yet to draw that one lol :)
