As a thank you for the help with the Charizard I made a short microscope comparison between some fakes and real cards.
We have modern, custom and vintage… I’ll let you all decide which is fake 😜
As for the method, you can tell the difference between a real and a fake based on the pattern on the back of the card in the D inside the P. I tried with a 10x jewelers loupe and the difference can be seen.

Started 3 years ago with a small order from Japan. After mistakes, light changes, pot experiments and some reading this is the current state of my small collection 🥹
Growing under AC Infinity IONBOARD S22 at 40% and as a fertilizer I use MSU Orchid Food - RO/Rain/Tap Water.
Any tips and tricks appreciated. Also looking for suggestions for a ‘final’ (I know I’m lying…) free spot on the left.
First time posting, curious about the authenticity and possible grade of the card. To the best of my ability it looks real but would like to hear other opinions. Also if you have any pointers to identify authentic base set cards I would appreciate it.
