Bad redness/inflammation
So I’m dealing with hemerrhoids right, I saw a proctologist in September, but he was terrible and I never went back. Only thing he recommended were over the counter suppositories lol. But one thing he noticed was some kind of a rash/red inflammation around my anus and he said to get it checked out by a dermatologist. Anddd I didn’t bcs I started to have other more serious health issues and the hemerrhoids didn’t really bother me except for their looks. Anyways, what could be causing the anus/skin around it ve so red and inflammed? It kind of burns tbh from time to time and I’m starting to have occasional but pain. And I am also dealing with aerobic vaginitis which is an overgrowth of intestinal bacteria in the vagina, although my hygiene’s perfect, diet too, etc. Theoretically, if I had an overgrowth of pathogenic intestinal bacteria (e coli, entroccocus), could it also be causing the fedness around my anus? Also I’m scared for some freaking skin infection or smth…The hemerrhoids I’d say are either external or prolapsed internals. Would sitz baths help or make the rash worse? HELP
