This update introduces a new gameplay expansion along with additional fixes, improvements, and seasonal content.

* Added the GBI (GenLife Bureau of Investigation) expansion

Seasonal Celebration

* Added a temporary 3% annual balance boost event bonus in celebration of the upcoming 250th Independence Day

Fixes & Improvements

* Fixed bugs from the previous update
* Improved overall gameplay stability and balance
* General performance enhancements and refinements

This update was originally planned as V6.0, but I decided to release the stable portion early.

In the background, I’m already laying the groundwork to support locally run LLMs when that technology becomes ready for the game.

So consider V5.1.0 as 30% of V6.0 dropping early!

What’s New in V5.1.0:
• Multiple brand new expansions
• New dating system
• New vehicles
• Major economy adjustments and balancing
• Overall improvements that make the game feel much more solid and polished

V6.0 is still coming in about a month with the remaining features. After that, it will likely be the last major update for a while (unless plans change).

This is a huge overhaul for GenLife. Important: This update will completely delete all existing saved game data. Only update if you’re ready to start fresh and dive into the new features!

V4.4.0 Major Update is Live on iOS! 🚀

This update brings some big changes and exciting new features (originally planned for V5.0).

Important note: This update will most likely wipe all existing saved game data due to deep backend changes.

Make sure to enjoy your current progress before updating!

Major improvements:

* Completely rewrote the crypto investment system and fixed major issues

* Crypto is no longer charged taxes unless you actually sell

* Improved overall business logic for better long term play

New Features:

* Landlord Expansion: Buy land, build apartment buildings, and rent them out for passive income. Over generations, you’ll unlock higher building levels (more apartments and higher earnings).

* Swiss & Panama Connections: For the first time, park your money in true tax free heaven accounts.

* Free Ports: Collect valuable artwork and other collectibles, then store them safely in tax heaven storages, another powerful way to protect and grow your wealth across generations.

I was originally planning to drop V5.0 next week, but I decided to release some of these features early in V4.4.0 so you can enjoy them right away while I take a bit more time to polish V5.0 (expected sometime next month).
