Leave entitlement confusion

Not sure if this is the right spot but yolo, feel free to direct me to a more appropriate sub if you know of one but…
In regards to leave entitlements at work, how does one maximise in the field? I’m talking like those niche ‘compassionate leave’, ‘study leave’, ‘carer leave’ or any others that nurses may be entitled to
Like how many hours ‘study leave’ (for example) am I entitled to as a permanent full time employee of 9 year for a NFP healthcare company & what do I need to do to use this leave? Attend CPD? Do some online learning?
I’m just so confused by all the different types of leave there is, yet I never use it? Seems like a waste if I qualify/am entitled to it! I am planning on resigning in the next 8-10 months so would love to really take advantage if I’m able hahahah
These are just the types of leave I can think of off the top of my head but I know there are soooo many more! Would love to hear any thoughts or advice about this?!
