Hi! Why won’t my new leaves unfurl? Got BoP one year ago, New growth stopped growing 6 months ago but still tightly furled. Tried gently helping in case it was stuck but tightly furled. Second growth just finished growing but also not unfurling. Is it a humidity issue? I spray leaves with water but only once a week.

Also there’s black insect-like discs on the stems… they come right off when I touch or wipe gently. It doesnt move or look like a bug. There’s no damage to the plant underneath - what is it?
