Hello all!

I'm currently seeking my next keyboard which I have been searching around for a while now. I came across the Advantage360 SmartSet version and had a few questions.

  • When learning a keyboard like this, how long before it becomes intuitive?
  • Can you still type fast with this type of keyboard?
  • Will I instantly notice less pressure in your wrists, fingers and shoulders when using this type of keyboard?

Overall, do you think this keyboard is worth it if I'm typing and I want to prevent strain in my wrists, fingers, shoulders and arms. I currently feel strain, but would this also prevent future strain? I'm really interested in this keyboard (and my health) but the price is deterring me from it.

For the setup, I currently use a laptop keyboard and would be putting my laptop in a clamshell mode, then would use a monitor to connect externally. I also currently use a Logitech MX Master 3 mouse so it seems like I'm 50% of the way there.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry for all of the posts, but I've narrowed it down to 4. I don't have a store local to me and have been going off of videos, with a focus on sound and overall reviews.

I'd get all of these in their quietest option, or for some only option. Still deciding on linear vs tactile, but whichever is quietest. I know this is personal preference

Thx

EDIT: I'm coming from a crappy laptop keyboard. Also just considering the Logitech MX mechanical, but I know that would be hated on here

Hello all!

I was wondering if I should go for tactile or linear switches. I currently own a logitech "gaming" keyboard with cherry mx blue switches and am looking for something that isn't as loud. To my knowledge, cherry mx blues are both clicky and tactile? If I felt tactile switches, should I just go for linear. Do linear still have a tactile feeling or do they feel hollow when pressing them?

I'd be mostly writing, but some light gaming.

I've narrowed down my search to these:

  • K3 Max SE QMK? (Would go with Milk POM Brown)

Im not sure what the difference is between this and the non QMK

  • K2, K8 HE or K10 HE SE (Nebula double rail)
  • Q1 Ultra 8k
  • V5 8K Ultra (Brow or red)

I love the look of the wood aesthetics on the Special Editions.

Just trying to understand these switches names and what they feel like. Also what do "banana" switches feel like?

Thx in advance

I'm on the search for a new keyboard! With all of the options out there I have narrowed it down to a few. I'm looking for something that is silent but gives tactile feedback.

I understand that all of these keyboards are different percentages.

I have been looking at:

* Keychron Q1 HE QMK Wireless * Keychron K3 HE Wireless * Logitech MX Mechanical  * Logitech MX Mechanical Mini * Nuphy Air75 v3

How do you think these are?

I'd be using this keyboard for long writing sessions and want something comfortable. Currently I'm using a laptop keyboard and want to get away from it and want to get away from typing on something which is flat ( I don't like scissor switches)

Also, do you recommend any extremely silent keyboards?

Thanks in advance!
