Hey folks going to the London shows.

This is just a general request from me as a fellow viewer of the show.

I know we’re all super excited to go and see our first full Live Starkid show down in London soon.

  1. Can I ask that anyone going to see the show remembers not to sing along or speak the lines while the show is happening. I know this might be a given but considering that we all sang along with the previous concerts (as was encouraged) I do worry that certain audiences might forget that general Theatregoing rules apply for a full show even if it is one they love like Guy!

Lauren actually posted about this during the run in the US. Someone shouted ‘fuck Clivesdale’ during her dramatic monologue with John and it really threw her off. We’ve all paid a lot of money for these tickets and I know we all want to hear the actors say and sing their lines so we can appreciate them.

There will also likely be audience members who have never seen the original show or don’t know about the changes for the remount (not everyone has seen the digital ticket!) so let’s not ruin their experiences.

Also please don’t whisper or chat when the show is happening.

  1. This is a BIG one that again should be a given but just a personal plea.

London is HOT as it gets into summer. So please have bathed and be wearing deodorant during the performance. Personal cleanliness is just a basic act of decency for your fellow fans.

When I saw Starkid Innit a couple years ago unfortunately there were quite a few people sat nearby with the unmistakable smell of BO, and being someone with sensitivity to noise and smells it is distracting. I understand that a lot of us deal with Anxiety and a lot of Mental Health conditions (myself included) but please make the effort to be fresh and wear clean clothing.

  1. Cosplay is common at any of these shows but be aware during the actual show if you’re wearing a hat or wig that might block the view of the person behind. As a short king I really don’t want to have to be leaning forward the whole time.

  2. Please don’t be fiddling with Apple Watches or your phone during the shows. I’ve been to so many shows over the past year where people have been checking their devices and the lights are so distracting!

—————-

Obviously I’m just a fellow fan and I’m not trying to be bossy or force people to follow my advice. But as we’ve all paid a lot for tickets and presumably merch, I really want us all to enjoy the show as much as we can!

Now let’s get excited and have a blast!
