So I was thriving as Nero because it felt like simpler DMC5 Nero, I cannot wrap my head around Dante, I unlocked Gilgamesh, and im struggling, I got to the mission at the castle and met the thunder demon and I know I’m meant to parry him, but I cannot for the life of me find a good button to do it consistently. I have no idea why this Dante feels so odd but it’s like my hits have no stagger with rebellion and all my Gilgamesh hits are slow and lock me in place for a moment

I really wanna see Nero, DMC characters already have a move set lined up from their games and his style with his arms and exceed would give him such a cool feel, plus a maybe charge shot like zero in mvc3 but not that strong. Idk is it even possible?

I’m super late on this but I just started playing 2.0 now so here’s my opinion on slayer. For context I’m not totally ass now I can still fight in diamond two and three I’m just considerably worse as it feels like playing almost a new character sometimes.

He’s not bad don’t get me wrong, but so many things got nerfed all at once it’s just killing my muscle memory. Pilebunker routing is different because of universal changes to hurt boxes, C.s can’t anti air now, k mappa was nerfed (that was fully deserved it was so stupid sometimes), 2HS doesn’t have its low immunity which makes it feel less useful by leaps and bounds plus getting meaningful combos off long ranged 2HS counter hit was nerfed last time and without wild assault extending off it for more then maybe 2 hits is impossible from what I can tell, P dandy pilebunker does less damage now, it’s late is so much slower now, if the buff was more substantial then “you can do dash cancels slightly easier, and your 6HS is minus 7 on first hit plus 3 on last and has less total stagger on hit” I’d enjoy it more but damn it’s rough.

I universally don’t enjoy the lack of counter hit damage but that’s a universal change and i understand why it happened, it just takes that X factor from high damage counter hit combos and removes some hype.

I’m sure I’m just being whinny and the character isn’t much worse then earlier, but with how much this changed my neutral and defense in terms of feel and vibe id rather play one of the other characters i play like Dizzy or Leo which sucks because I love my boy.

I’m completely fine with his damage rn and K mappa changes are a godsend for everyone involved, but I hate 2HS now because it’s defensive play Isn’t as cool and I can’t bait lows to slam them now, plus I can’t bait stun dipper and it’s variations in the kiske family then slam it and dandy step was already interactive leaving room for jabs, throws and jumps, so I don’t see the point in changing it’s late. Coming back from a break from this game, to see my boy feels entirely different now kinda stings a bit. Maybe I’m just no longer cut out for the game.

TL/DR I’m in my feels because my boy ain’t the same no more. Why Mr arcsys? You could’ve taken K mappa and nerfed my damage but changing it’s late and 2HS plus the universal changes to hurtboxes killing some loops hurts me in my heart Mr arcsys.

Side note how’s test? I’ve been running diamond 2-3 matches for like 3 days now and not seen one?? Is my nonbinary homie okay???

So I’ve not played since February and I come back to see 2HS no longer has low invuln, K mappa is more negative on block in point blank range, it’s late is slower now, etc, and I’m not saying I’m completely against the changes because I guess 6HS got buffed and they made dash cancel easier but I could do that regardless of it being easier so idk about that, but I am saying this is messing with my neutral so hard so if yall got tips to get used to this I’d appreciate it

Hi, I’m a dependent and I’m using the GI bill to help me afford college. Today I randomly got a letter telling me “your education indebtedness to the department of veterans affairs has been reduced by 32 dollars” and telling me I owe them 350 which Isn’t a huge deal for me right now financially but 350 is still 350. How do I owe them money? From my understanding of the GI bill I inform them what classes im taking, they pay me a set amount for full time students and I use the money for school expenses and bills. So I never took out a loan or anything else that builds debt, they didn’t even tell me how to pay it back or where I can send the money, just “call us if you have any questions”. Anyone else have a similar situation or know about this? Normally I’d call and sort it out but it’s the weekend so I don’t think I can call them until Monday.

So I’m 20 in like a week, I haven’t been swimming in a while but I do like to swim and wanna get back into it. Am I too old to learn how to dive? I was never on a swim team or anything so I never learned or really wanted to but now that I’m older I’ve been thinking of it more, I can swim fine on my own, obviously not professional level or anything close to that but normal lap swimming, but I got no idea how to properly dive into a pool.

Hi I live in the US and it’s my second semester in college for context.

So last semester I was fine, I had a couple close calls between finals and midterms but I did good, scored a 4.0 because I got high grades which means my cumulative GPA won’t be tanked completely by this semester. This semester my cat died at the start, my dog died into it, my grandpa decided to hop on the band wagon and die too damn it, my car broke down so getting to classes sucked ass. All that reflected in my course work. Right now I have 2Cs a B and an A so my gpa should be like a 2.2 or something this semester. I botched a final yesterday, I’m taking another one I’m not very confident on today. So yeah this semester sucked. Anyone else got a shit show of a semester?
