How to dig in an area taken over by invasive bamboo
Hey! So I posted here a lil while back showing whet I had found in a spot in the woods near my property. Most I what I had found at that point was on or near the surface and very easy to get up. As I get deeper I am running into the problem that is bamboo roots. They are everywhere and so hard to dig through without just straight up hacking them. If there any method yall would suggest to get through the roots without potentially breaking or damaging any bottles or other artifacts beneath/tangled up them? The only thing i can think of would be some type of pressure washer to remove the dirt leaving only artifacts and roots however that would be nearly impossible so it a last resort. I have a gardening knife as well as a small chainsaw for the slightly bigger stuff but I accidentally broke a beautiful bottle as a result of this. Here are some pictures of the site and the roots. Would appreciate your help!!! :)
