Obviously Prednisone got me through some times.

The first thing this doctor put me in, either didn't work, it worked, or the prednisone worked and flare ended. It was a biologic, hated the frequency of spending hours there.

I would have blindly continued but that company got bought and some insurance thing happened.

I stopped treatment and basically didn't have any major flares for 3 years.

Well, we are back....

I urgently went to the doc because it was impacting life.

Begged only for 20mg prednisone. 40mg makes me fat and gives acne later. Seems good/Improving right now.

But I guess I should take care of this in the long term.

Any suggestions on where to start? I prefer not to surpress my immune system, I have 6 kids. I prefer not to spend hours every few weeks getting an IV. I prefer not to increase odds of cancer, have side effects, or have an astrik next to all future medical treatments because I took a medicine once.

I know I'm asking for the moon... But maybe you all have advice.
