What are good parenting and or podcasts to help you parent your preschooler

Feel like I'm failing my kids in the parenting dept. Oldest child keeps hitting me. Thinks its a game. Laughs. And just hits me more. I put him on the bed and do a time in and he just keeps moving toward me and hitting me again.

He's usually articulate with his feelings but I can't get anything about this. What can I do
