[IYL] Japanese Denim by Daniel Caesar

You'd love "The way things now are" by Mishay. It's on youtube, but the vocals and production is pretty good. It's a tad bit sad than japanese denim, literally, but the drums and bass groove nicely. Also, the guitars in The way things now are soooo fkn good.

The whole song subtly builds towards the bridge, and the bridge really delivers imo. It really restrains itself in the arrangement up until that point, and the resulting bridge just does it for me. So pretty.

I also love how infectious the outro is, seriously it's a lesser known song but you should definitely check it out.

i think im never not sad lol

The last chorus's chord progression change (iii to VI, instead of ii to V) wasn't something I came up with, I actually heard it on one of thom yorke's acoustic demo of the song. If you want, lmk I'll go and find it on youtube (i heard it a while ago) and share with you here.
