New art work I made in collaboration with blind and visually impaired art students

I got the opportunity to create this artwork with students from the Texas School for the Blind and Visually impaired. The concept was to make something completely 3D dimensional so that it could be “seen” by touch alone. I have been experimenting with tufting these last couple of years and it played an important role in this art piece. Just wanted to share :)
