A post Pep league is an exciting prospect

(If rumours are true) not just for rivals but neutrals too, I think it'll level the playing field quite a bit, we may see a non City, Liverpool or Arsenal league winner soon enough. The top teams all have relatively young managers with a few years of experience (bar Arteta with 7 years).

That fear factor City has had has been whittling down and teams have been going at them the last 2 seasons, so its interesting to imagine how they'll be perceived with say Maresca in charge. We definitely could be on the cusp of a new PL era, we've had post Fergie, time for post Pep?

West Ham: London taxpayers could pay extra £2.5m if Hammers relegated

This would be due to West hams 99 year lease agreement (done under Boris Johnson surprise surprise), tax payers currently contribute to the stadiums operating costs.

The Hammers would have to pay half of their £4.4m rent to the Greater London authority if relegated, and taxpayers will have to make up the rest.

Jhon Duran - when chasing the money goes wrong

His fall off is crazy considering he's still what 23? Seen as a young upstart at Aston Villa, good ability, good finishing, not a starter but a regular sub. CL football under Emery and Villa in the ascendency, what could go wrong?

Then he decided to go to Al Nassr and the rest is history, i think its a mix of things, chasing the money, bad decisions/advice from his agent and allegedly bad attitude problems as I've been hearing. He essentially got canned by Nassr, went to Fenerbache and is most recently at Zenit St Petersburg on loan (he's now on leave). All the while plagued by stories of low work rate, arrogance etc, disharmony in teams.

So while its not exclusively a money thing, a lot of it is tied to that, he seems to want to be a starter anywhere he goes, has a bad attitude/is seen as a disruptive force and keeps demanding more money. Bit of a career killer when you're a mostly unproven kid. Its a bit of a shame but it's a great example of how quickly things can go south if a decent player just goes straight for the money.

He's young and can turn things around, but he'll never play at the top level again if he doesnt fix his attitude and humble himself.
